Peak Experience: Hiking the Santa Monica Mountains

Kasie and Harris laced up their hiking boots for an adventure in the Santa Monica Mountains. With stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and the LA basin, they conquered the trails together, proving they make great partners both on and off the mountain.

The Santa Monica Mountains offer some of the best hiking in Los Angeles. Just a short drive from campus, you can escape the city and find yourself surrounded by nature, wildlife, and breathtaking views.

They chose a trail that rewarded their efforts with panoramic vistas. At the summit, they could see the ocean stretching to the horizon on one side and the sprawling city on the other.

There's something about conquering a tough hike together that strengthens a bond. The shared effort, the encouragement along the way, and the triumph at the top—it's a metaphor for the journey they're on together.
